Ph.D. with focus on Machine Learning, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ruhr University Bochum. My professional career combines a solid academic background with many years of experience leading global IT organizations and implementing strategic technology programs. This includes the development of scalable IT architectures as well as the design of digitalization initiatives in the areas of data platforms, business intelligence, and process automation.
My key areas of focus include the modernization of system landscapes, cloud transformations, and the integration of IT structures in the context of mergers and acquisitions. Through the targeted use of modern data architectures, machine learning, and AI methods, I optimize processes, support well-founded decision-making, and create sustainable business value.
In the past, I also served as the security officer towards the German regulator (Bundesnetzagentur) at the German subsidiary of a leading fiber network operator. In this role, I gained in-depth experience at the intersection of technology, regulation, and critical infrastructure.

Over 30 years of experience in the planning, operation and strategic development of global IP network infrastructures — including 20 years in leadership roles at one of the world’s largest Tier-1 carriers (Arelion / formerly Telia Carrier, ASN 1299, #2 network globally).
As Head of Service Delivery, I built and led teams of 6 to 23 members, ensuring the reliable delivery of IP services for international enterprise customers — from network configuration to end-to-end project management. The results speak for themselves: an NPS of 72 (2022) and an ECS of 80 (2023).
Network & Service Delivery: Planning, configuration and operation of IP services across a global backbone network (#2 network worldwide by ASN ranking)
Leadership & Process Optimisation: 20+ years of building and managing service delivery teams, establishing scalable planning and configuration processes
